BOB DYLAN ‘ BLOOD ON THE TRACKS – THE NEW YORK VERSION’  was our featured album on Saturday 13th October on National Album Day.
The CAT Club was delighted to join forces with Route Publishing to welcome leading Dylan authority CLINTON HEYLIN for the worldwide launch of his new monograph NO ONE ELSE COULD PLAY THAT TUNE – THE MAKING AND UNMAKING OF DYLAN’S 1974 MASTERPIECE.
Another classic CAT Club event and a special thank you to those Bobcats who travelled from Sheffield, Wales, the Midlands and London.

POSTPONED! THE WHO ‘LIVE AT LEEDS. Thursday 25th October at 7.30pm. SOLD OUT

Unfortunately our very special guest, JON ASTLEY had an accident and has been advised not to travel for a short while. We will be rearranging this event in the future and will let you know asap:

The legendary live album recorded (less than 20 miles from The CAT Club) at the University Refectory at Leeds on 14 February 1970 is presented in it’s all glory on the original vinyl pressing.

Critic Nick Cohn described the album as “the definitive hard-rock holocaust,” and that just about sums the collective of Pete Townsend, Roger Daltry, John Entwistle and Keith Moon.

Our very special guest presenter is JON ASTLEY who remastered the tapes and produced the de-luxe edition and has worked with The Who for many years supervising mastering all their back catalogue.
